Thanksgiving Holiday Service Update
We’d like to share our service plan for the Thanksgiving holiday period.
To accommodate increased travel demand, CTrail Hartford Line will operate on a special holiday schedule featuring additional trains and expanded capacity. All trains will also operate with four cars, providing additional seating to make your trip more comfortable. Here’s a brief overview of the holiday schedule:
Tuesday, November 25, and Wednesday, November 26
- Regular weekday schedule with additional trains
Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving Day)
- Modified holiday schedule
Friday, November 28
- Regular weekday schedule
Saturday, November 29
- Modified weekend schedule
Sunday, November 30
- Regular weekend schedule with additional trains

Additional Travel Information
- Amtrak: Most Amtrak trains are projected to sell out and will not accept CTrail tickets. If you plan to travel on an Amtrak train, purchase your tickets in advance through Amtrak.com, the Amtrak app, or an Amtrak ticket agent.
- Connections: If you are connecting to another service, you should check with that operator, as they may have a modified holiday schedule.
