New Service and Schedule Adjustments – Effective July 1st
We’re delighted to share the exciting news that, starting July 1st, we’re introducing a new evening train for improved late-night service options:
CTrail 4417 – Departing Springfield at 10:18 p.m.
Additionally, CTrail 4476 will replace Amtrak 476 but will still depart New Haven Union Station at 5:30 p.m.\
There will also be other weekday schedule adjustments that are necessary to accommodate essential track work between Hartford and Windsor Locks, ensuring the safety and integrity of our railroad infrastructure. Those include:
Weekday Northbound
- Amtrak 478 will now depart New Haven Union Station at 10:05 p.m.
Weekday Southbound
- Amtrak 495 will now depart Springfield at 6:40 a.m.
- CTrail 4467 will now depart Springfield at 8:28 p.m.
This adjustment also includes minor changes in departure times for several other trains.
