Modified Schedule September 12 and 13
Please be advised that CTrail Hartford Line and Amtrak Hartford Line will operate on a modified schedule on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13. During this time, customers should be aware of the following additional service impacts:
- Amtrak and Metro-North Railroad service to and from New York will be heavily altered, including several Amtrak cancellations due to the WALK Bridge outage in South Norwalk.
- New Haven Line service will operate on a modified schedule, including significantly limited travel options between New Haven and Stamford.
- Expect significantly reduced capacity and potential crowding, with approximately 55% fewer seats available than normal. Customers traveling to and from New York City are encouraged to use the high-capacity parking garages at Stamford and South Norwalk to ride the more frequent trains between those stations.
