Beginning Tuesday, April 22, 2025, select weekday CTrail Hartford Line and Amtrak trains will operate on a modified schedule, with some trains replaced by bus service. These adjustments are necessary to accommodate two major infrastructure improvement projects along the line.

What You Need to Know:

• Weekend train service will not be affected.
  
• Tickets & Fares: Regular train fares apply to substitute buses. Please purchase a valid CTrail Hartford Line or Amtrak ticket before boarding.
  
• Bus Pick-Up & Drop-Off: Station signage will direct passengers to designated bus boarding locations.
  

Schedule Changes: Some train departure and arrival times will be adjusted. Visit HartfordLine.com/fares-schedules for the latest schedule information.

These changes are being implemented to allow safe and efficient progress on two critical projects:

• Windsor Locks Station Project – Construction of a new station featuring high-level platforms, upgraded lighting, and full ADA accessibility.
• Track Improvement Project – Installation of new interlockings and upgrades to grade crossings to enhance safety, increase capacity, and improve train speed and reliability.
