Important: New Schedule Beginning September 5
Starting Tuesday, September 5th, a new Hartford Line schedule will take effect. This schedule marks the end of Amtrak’s construction work on the Penn Station Access project and the return to regular Amtrak service from New York to New Haven.
This schedule change will significantly impact some train times, and some connections will also be affected.
Trains with adjustments of 15 minutes or more include the following:
Weekday
- Amtrak 490 will now depart New Haven Union Station at 9:42 a.m.
- Amtrak 494 will now depart New Haven Union Station at 7:35 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday
- Amtrak 497 will now depart Springfield at 7:30 p.m.
