Additional Service added to CTrail Hartford Line Beginning Monday, July 13
Effective Monday, July 13, the following CTrail Hartford Line trains will be added to service:
Weekday Northbound (all terminate in Hartford):
- CTrail 4452 departing New Haven Union Station 6:35 AM
- CTrail 4458 departing New Haven Union Station 3:26 PM
- CTrail 4462 departing New Haven Union Station 4:32 PM
Weekday Southbound (to New Haven):
- CTrail 4453 departing Hartford 7:45 AM
- CTrail 4461 departing Hartford 5:05 PM
- CTrail 4463 departing Hartford 5:40 PM
Weekend Northbound (to Springfield):
- CTrail 6400 departing New Haven Union Station 8:10 AM
- CTrail 6402 departing New Haven Union Station 10:00 AM
- CTrail 6456 departing New Haven Union Station 2:29 PM (terminates in Hartford)
- CTrail 6458 departing New Haven Union Station 4:10 PM (terminates in Hartford)
Weekend Southbound (to New Haven):
- CTrail 6401 departing Springfield 10:00 AM
- CTrail 6403 departing Springfield 11:57 AM
- CTrail 6457 departing Hartford 4:05 PM
- CTrail 6459 departing Hartford 5:30 PM

In addition to the service changes above, customers are reminded of the COVID-19 travel advisories below:
- Purchase tickets prior to boarding using a ticket vending machine or the CTrail eTix app for CTrail Hartford Line, CTrail Shore Line East, and connecting New Haven Line (Metro-North) trains. Cash transactions are suspended on board trains and at ticket offices.
- Customers should wear a mask or face covering on all trains, in stations, and on platforms, unless you have a medical condition that prevents you from doing so. Children under two do not require a mask. Please be aware that Amtrak requires the use of face masks onboard their trains.
- Practice social distancing while waiting at rail stations and riding trains. The CDC recommends keeping a distance of at least six feet from others.
- Customers who feel sick should not use public transportation.
