A temporary service adjustment will be in effect from Friday, June 23, to Monday, June 26. During this period, there will be significant bus substitutions for CTrail Hartford Line and Amtrak trains.

This adjustment is necessary to accommodate Amtrak’s maintenance and safety work on the Connecticut River Bridge north of Hartford, and because of track work on the upcoming Windsor Locks Station.

Detailed information includes the following:

Friday, June 23 

• Amtrak 148 & 136 will be bus substitutions

Saturday, June 24, and Sunday, June 25

• CTrail: There will be train service from New Haven to Hartford, but buses will service all stops north of Hartford
• Amtrak: There will be local and express bus service from New Haven to Springfield

Monday, June 26 

• Amtrak 141 and 125 will be bus substitutions

Additional information:

• Local buses will stop at every station along the Hartford Line
• Express buses will only stop at New Haven Union Station, State Street, Hartford Union Station, and Springfield Union Station
• Passengers will still need to purchase a train ticket to board a substitute bus
