New Windsor Locks Station Opening
We’re excited to announce that, beginning Sunday, October 18, 2026, all CTrail Hartford Line and Amtrak Hartford Line trains serving Windsor Locks will stop at the new Windsor Locks Station at 229 Main Street, with no current change to train times. The old station on South Main Street at Stanton Road will close permanently after service on Saturday, October 17, and trains will no longer stop there.
What’s at the new station:
- 160 parking spaces
- High-level platform with a canopy and an integrated snow‑melting system to ensure safe, reliable boarding
- Heated waiting area
- Convenient and expanded bus service to Bradley International Airport
Bus substitution pickup: If bus substitutions are in effect, pickup will be at the station’s drop-off area
