Modified Schedules and Special Fares, July 3-5
Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with special $2.50 one-way fares for both the CTrail Hartford Line and Shore Line East on Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, 2026.
Please note that CTrail Hartford Line will operate on modified schedules throughout the weekend as follows:
- Friday, July 3: Saturday schedule
- Saturday, July 4: Special Saturday schedule
If you’re heading to Hartford this July 4th for the America 250 Capital Commemoration + Hartford Bonanza 2026, CTrail is running additional service to get you to and from the fireworks.
In the event of inclement weather, activities may be rescheduled to Sunday, July 5, and service plans will be adjusted as needed.
To prepare for these changes, please keep the following in mind:

Connecting Services: If you are connecting to another rail service, we recommend checking directly with the respective operator, as they may have also modified their schedules during this time.
